What does CityMail do?

CityMail delivers mail and packages to approximately 6 million individuals and businesses in Sweden. With our bikes and emissions-free vehicles, we have a low impact on the environment.

Our vision ” Sweden´s most valued, sustainable and efficient deliveries” serves as a guiding star for us. Our business specializes in efficient delivery of mail and packages with innovative sorting systems and routes with short last mile and high density.

Mail and packages are co-distributed in the same logistics network, which provides a superior climate efficiency. More than half of our last mile deliveries are completely emission-free, in urban centers, where it is most sensitive, more than 95% of our deliveries are completely emission-free and noise-free. In Stockholm City, CityMail is 100% emissions-free.

Our history

CityMail was founded in the early 90s in a basement in Östermalm to challenge what was then a postal monopoly which made it unreasonably expensive to send mail.

Ever since then, we have been driven to find smarter, more efficient and more sustainable ways to deliver mail and packages.

Today CityMail is owned by a German private equity firm.
